Robert Boyd has spent his life making music as it is intertwined in the fibers of his being. Mississippi Rob connects to audiences whether singing quartet with his father, background in his family choir, playing guitar for blues artist such as Willie Clayton, or as a country and blues artist with his band UptownGroovz. For Rob music is an outlet from his demanding life as it has been with him since childhood during his time as a Detective, welder, truck driver and driving instructor, master chef, and more. He wears and has worn many uniforms in life but none as pleasurable as when he straps on his guitar.
